Laser Tag is a team or individual sport where
players attempt to score points by engaging targets,
typically with a hand-held infrared-emitting targeting
device.
Although the name implies the uses of lasers, real
lasers are not used except for aiming devices. The
actual transmitting element of almost all Laser Tag gear
is in the Infra-Red-Light Emitting Diode such as those
used in household remote controls. The computerized
targeting device used by each player carries an
identifying signal, the targets record the special
signal when they are hit by the beam. |
Laser Tag is a
game played now days by kids of all ages, from 10 to 50
in the form of Laser Tag. Nothing can beat the thrill of
sneaking around in the dark trying to tag your friends
while they try to target you. If you think playing a
spaced-age video game is fun, then picture yourself as
one of the characters featured in the game, tagging
opponents with a laser in a room which makes you feel
you’re out of this world. The computer system provides score tracking as well
as enforcing some rules of engagement such as an
enforced period of time when a player is unable to shoot
after being hit by an opponent or discounting all
friendly fire. |
